Over 50 Years in the Industry
MIAT College of Technology has been preparing students for rewarding technical careers for over half a century and in that time has become a major contributor to technical industry around the country.
The school was founded by a highly experienced aircraft technician, Lee R. Koepke, in anticipation of growth in the aviation industry. Koepke developed a training resource to send qualified aviation technicians into the field. That training became the foundation for the Aviation Technology programs used at MIAT today.
