Financial Aid

MIAT understands the stress that paying for college can create. That’s why we connect our students with financial aid options so you can focus on what matters: getting hands-on training from industry professionals.

Financial aid comes in the form of government assistance and private sources to help students pay for their education costs. Most students take advantage of more than one type of aid, combining grants, scholarships, and student loans.

Financial aid is available to those who qualify. Students may qualify for federal aid in the form of subsidized and unsubsidized Direct Stafford Loans, PLUS LoansPELL Grants and Scholarships. Additional funding options are available to our students as well.

To get the Student Financing and Financial Aid process started, you must:

File a FAFSA. This will be the first step in helping determine if you are eligible for aid. If you have questions about filling out your FAFSA form, contact our Financial Aid department at 800-447-1310 (Canton) or 888-547-7047 (Houston). We’ll be happy to help.

MIAT’s FEDERAL SCHOOL CODE is: 013603

Be sure to have your Social Security Number, date of birth, driver’s license number, and either your previous year’s tax return or W-2 ready when you start the form or call us.

For more information on funding sources and qualifications, please contact the Financial Aid Office at 800-447-1310 (Canton) or 888-547-7047 (Houston).
