HOUSTON, Texas (Feb. 3, 2020) — MIAT College of Technology’s Houston campus faculty and staff are hosting the 2020 Career Fair for its students and graduates on Thursday, Feb. 6, from 1 to 5:30 p.m. The Career Fair will be held on campus at 533 Northpark Central Drive, Houston, Texas 77073
MIAT’s 2020 Career Fair provides an opportunity for its students and graduates to meet employers who have immediate hiring needs for entry-level positions. MIAT offers certificate and associate degree programs for day and night students. Students can choose aviation maintenance, energy, HVACR, non-destructive testing, and welding technician programs.
“This career fair is designed to assist recent grads and soon to be grads a chance to meet with employers. For many employers in Houston and other parts of the county, the high demand nature of their openings requires them to actively recruit future workers to their company. Many want to be the first to meet with graduates,” commented John Willis, MIAT College of Technology Houston campus president.
MIAT has organized private space for prospective employers to conduct interviews with MIAT students and graduates and for showcasing information about job opportunities and benefits. Companies that are confirmed to participate in the 2020 Career Fair at MIAT Houston include, but are not limited to, the following: AccuFleet; Daikin; Design Air Systems; DynCorp International; ExpressJet Airlines; Endeavor Air; FlexForce; FieldCore/GE (Wind and Power); One Hour AC; Rosen USA; Republic Airways; Safetech; Siemens Energy; Spirit Airlines; System One; TDI Industries; TPI Staffing; TRS Craft Services; and United Airlines (Houston and National Recruiting team).
